Freedom of religion! Just when the nation is getting ready to be buzzed with the Fourth of July fun, the web has been found abuzz with freedom of religion and 1st amendment. In our country, freedom of religion is a guaranteed constitutional right defined in the religion clauses of the 1st amendment. Freedom of religion -- as in the 1st amendment is closely related to separation of church and state, an idea written of by Thomas Jefferson.

The 1st Amendment prohibits the federal government from making any legal binding "respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Let's now keep the thoughts of freedom of religion in our mind and move a step ahead to think about something more deeper and more valuable - may be even more valuable than the 1st amendment! Yes... let's spread the fragrance of patriotism. Lets think about one religion - and that is 'We are Americans'. At least for this phase of the year let's enjoy the law of freedom of religion more aesthetically - let's feel Proud To Be Americans!
